Classical 89.5, KMFA Announces Expanded Live & Local Presentation
Austin, TX – Classical 89.5 is proud to announce that December 3rd, 2007 will mark the beginning of KMFA’s new Night Air programming, hosted by Laurie Turner. Night Air will be specially crafted programming of quiet, contemplative classics until midnight each weekday evening.
KMFA’s General Manager and Program Director, Jack Allen, comments: “It is a goal of the station to be as live and local as possible in service to our community of listeners. We hear over and over again from our audience that this is something they want. We’re very pleased to be expanding our service in this manner.”
Laurie Turner, who has worked in an administrative capacity at the station over the last two years, comments: “I’ve always been a night owl, enjoying the quiet moments during the waning hours of the day. It’s a time when one can almost “hear” an audible sound of a fast-paced city finally relaxing after a busy day. I’m looking forward to hosting Night Air and spending each weekday evening sharing a rich tapestry of quiet, contemplative classic music around the warm hearth of KMFA radio.”
Tune in December 3rd, 2007 and spend an evening with Classical 89.5, KMFA and Night Air with host, Laurie Turner!
