About Challenge Grants
Spring and Fall Membership Drives are an inherent part of public radio stations like Classical 89.5, KMFA. Challenge Grants are used as matching funds during drives to help encourage listeners to become members. Levels begin at $500.
How It Works
During a specified time interval in the drive, an announcer will introduce your challenge grant. We explain that your donation is contingent upon meeting a specified goal-whether that is a number of new members or a pre-determined dollar amount. Your Business Name is announced numerous times both during your grant time slot and in pre/post drive messaging.
What Our Listeners Will Appreciate
When our listeners and members hear your challenge grant during the drive - they also hear you have something in common with them - you're a member! This is a level of connection that many other mediums simply cannot offer you.
Additional Benefits
Challenge Grantors are entitled to additional discounts on Underwriting. While useful in introducing your business name to our listeners and or reconnecting with them - continued messaging with frequency and duration is what ultimately works best to brand your business. In public radio - that messaging is known as underwriting. Remember, Challenge Grantors are eligible for additional discounts on underwriting!
