UT Austin Informal Classes presents 'The Symphonies of Mahler". "A symphony is like the world: it must embrace everything." So said Gustav Mahler, composer of some of the world's most powerful and enduring symphonies. Mahler, an incredibly eclectic composer, turned the triumphs and tragedies of his life into music of sublime lyricism, shattering power, and surprising irony.

Class trip: Austin Symphony Orchestra's performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 6 (The "Tragic"), on Saturday, March 25th,, 2017, at 8:00 PM. Ticket cost will be between $20 - $30 per ticket.
