About

The Cold War sets the scene for this exhibition. On the world stage, the superpowers dealt with the business of that conflict: armaments, détente, missile silos, guns and butter, stagnation, mutually assured destruction, peaceful co-existence. New themes with new names. The exhibit, which runs March 1-10, has been created by the ACC Art Department and features art and items collected by ACC professors of Russian in the Foreign Languages Department.

The reception and discussion on March 7th will feature comments from ACC’s Russian Professor Joe Liro about the items on display. The discussion will be led by Matthew Daude Laurents, Dean of the Arts and Humanities Division.
Refreshments provided by The Russian House.
