About

Austin Cantorum, directed by Cristian Cantu, is a new professional vocal chamber ensemble featuring professional musicians living and working in Austin, Texas. Their repertoire includes sacred and secular works from early Baroque to newly commissioned works. This is a concert of reflection, with music by composers Ola Gjeilo, George Oldroyd, Knut Nystedt, Vincent Persichetti, Cristian Cantu, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Samuel Barber, Eriks Esenvalds, Thomas LaVoy, Eric Whitacre, and Stephen Paulus.
