Mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe has had an international singing career since the early 1990s. She has been closely associated with The Metropolitan Opera, with whom she has performed annually since her debut in 1995.

Ms. Blythe made her Central Texas debut in her signature program of songs from The Great American Songbook. Blythe, along with pianist Craig Terry, performed “We’ll Meet Again: The Songs of Kate Smith” in the Evans Auditorium at Texas State University. She stopped by the KMFA studios to talk with Chris Johnson about her life and career and her love of all kinds of music.
