The Graeber House at 410, in partnership with Pecan Street Gallery, is excited to present an evening of art, music, and architecture, with visual artist Jim Waltrip's first solo art show: “Color Pops - Portals Within”

Jim, a native Texan, grew up in San Antonio and has lived in Austin 20 years. He captures organic imagery such as flowers, fruits, herbs, and leaves using high resolution digital scanners and macro photography. The images are rendered onto metallic substrates and mounted under acrylic glass and resins. The resulting pieces are detailed, vibrant, colorful images that celebrate the infinite complexity of life.

Pecan Street Gallery is a uniquely Austin Pop-Up Gallery concept. We find unusual and beautiful spaces to showcase the work of local artists - but only for a single weekend! Our mission is to create one of a kind event experiences, promote local art, and celebrate architecture.

The Graeber House at 410 is a historic townhome located in the heart of downtown Austin on East Sixth Street. This renowned architectural marvel currently operates as a luxury rental and exclusive event space.

Join us for an evening of art, music, and architecture for this unique and special event! Refreshments will be provided.
