This weekend the Austin Symphony presents the next concert in its current “Something for Everyone" Series. The program, “Bella and the Beast," features an eclectic mix of some of the best-known works by Rossini, Bach, and Haydn, alongside two masterpieces that perhaps aren’t heard in concert nearly as much as they should be: the Celestial Fantasy by Armenian-American composer Alan Hovhaness and the “beastly” Violin Concerto in D Major by Igor Stravinsky.

The Bulgarian-born violinist Bella Hristova makes her Austin Symphony debut in concerts this weekend. She joined Rideshare host Chris Johnson in the KMFA studios this week.
