Dr. Kasey Claborn will present on the interplay between addiction and mental health and the impact that co-occurring diagnoses have on the individual and loved ones. She will explore treatment options, what to say when you are concerned someone may have a substance use problem, and the importance of mental health during recovery.

Specifically, her research seeks to improve clinical outcomes of vulnerable and high-risk patients through improving care coordination and communication at the systems-level and promoting health behavior change at the patient-level.
