Summer is rollin’ in and we have the perfect way for you to beat the heat and eliminate pet homelessness! Our Dog Days of Summer is 3 days of fun events for the whole family.

We kickstart the weekend on July 20th at Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline with an interactive showing of “Office Space”, full of red staplers, pieces of flare, and even your chance to crush a printer!

Saturday, July 21st is our 10th annual Bowl-a-Thon being held at Mel’s Lone Star Lanes in Georgetown. With three tournaments to choose from, there is sure to be a time to fit your schedule. Grab your friends and sign up to win first place!

Texas Humane Heroes is a No Kill, private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization with dog and cat adoption centers in Leander (Greater Austin Metropolitan area) and Killeen, Texas. Established in 1979, Texas Humane Heroes enhances the lives of pets and people through adoption, availability of our low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinics as well as family-friendly community events.

We are 100% funded by donations, grants and modest fees for services. Texas Humane Heroes does not receive any local, state, or federal government funding.
