About

The French Tech Club will host two pop-up restaurants and bars from March 15 to 20, in Austin, Texas.

Local Austinites and South by Southwest 2015 interactive, film and music attendees are invited to dine on the grounds of the French Legation Museum at 802 San Marcos Street and enjoy dishes, wine and
cocktails usually available only by traveling to France.

Led by two Angers chefs at the forefront of the French natural cuisine movement, the two pop-up restaurants and bars are:

• Restaurant Une Île, a Michelin-starred restaurant of Gérard and
Catherine Bossé.

• Restaurant Chez Rémi, a spin-off of Chef Rémi Fournier’s Angers
restaurant. Rémi and Richard Audren have exported French food culture
to Austin since 2013.

• Cercle Rouge, a wine bar featuring natural wines from the Loire Valley.

• Métropolitain, a craft cocktail bar with a special focus on
forgotten cocktails.
