Join pianists including Christopher Guzman, Kris Pineda, Gregory Allen, Johan Botes, and Michael Schneider as they perform in this audio-visual concert intertwining the sounds and imagery of the impressionist movement.

Centered around the evocative music of Debussy's second book of Preludes - the evening's playing will be paired with visual projections and presentations of the paintings and artists behind the music. This unique concert includes an engaging pre-performance presentation on impressionism in sound and visual art.

  • Founded in 2013, the Austin Piano Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the musical culture of Austin, Texas and surrounding areas by providing multiple educational opportunities and world class concerts. Our 2015 season includes the exciting "Celebration of the Piano" series from March 14 - May 17, and includes our Solo Piano Competition, performance opportunities for Texas students, master classes, and concerts and lessons with world-class guest artists and teachers!
