About

Each week is a creative movement workshop for children ages 7-12. We learn aerial dance vocabulary which builds to collaborative choreography. Together we create a composition to be discovered by each group. Classes emphasize the importance of communication and safety while learning creative exploration. We want to share our love for inspired movement and hope to expand and enrich our relationships with one another and with our shared spaces. At the end of each week, the class presents a showing for friends and family. Aerial silks are a challenging apparatus and classes are offered in sessions to allow students time to build strength needed to maintain and navigate off the ground. *Important Location note: This class will take place in Blue Lapis Light's new studio located at 10331 Old Manchaca Rd.
