The Wednesday Morning Music Club will feature international music at its meeting on Wednesday, December 2, at 10 AM. Performers include Kay Race, piano, playing "Andante con variazioni in F minor" by Franz Joseph Haydn (Austria). Janie Keys, piano, will play "Nocturne in C# minor, Op. 27, No. 1" by Chopin (France). Hector Moreno, cello, and Angelica Lopez, piano, perform Johannes Brahms’ (Germany) "Sonata in D Major, Op. 78." Adrienne Inglis, flute, and Toby Blumenthal-Phillips, piano, will play 4 movements of "Partita for Flute and Piano in C minor, S. 997," by J. S. Bach (Germany). Finally, Kathryn Govier and Marcia Edwards, piano duet, perform "Polonaise" and "Krakowiak" from "Polish Dances" by Moritz Moszkowski (Poland/Germany). Guests and visitors are always welcome! Please join us for a morning of classical music from some favorite composers of various nationalities. 

The final meeting of the year, a holiday coffee and music program, will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 16, (9:30 AM).

The Wednesday Morning Music Club is an Austin treasure. We meet twice monthly, October - May, for live music programs. Members enjoy opportunities to perform, listen to live--mostly classical--music, make new friends, support music education, promote American music and artists, and receive an e-mail newsletter with performers bios and a calendar of upcoming musical events in the community.
