Wexford festival opera logo 65th yr

Back in the 18th and 19th centuries Operas were like television shows. Audiences wanted to see a different one every time they went to the theatre. For the last 65 years Wexford Festival Opera of Ireland has taken advantage of the many operas that fell by the wayside. Artistic Director David Agler calls them the forgotten operas.
