About Round Top International Music Festival

After challenging auditions, Round Top Festival Institute selected 92 talented young artists from over 600 applicants to reside for six weeks during the summer and study with distinguished international faculty. They performed as the Texas Festival Orchestra while in residence, beginning with the opening concert on Saturday, June 11. The educational program, one of the best of its kind, includes private lessons, master classes, workshops, chamber music coaching, orchestra sectionals and orchestra rehearsals conducted by worldwide celebrated conductors.

Concerts are performed in the strikingly beautiful and acoustically perfect Festival Concert Hall (air conditioned, 1,000 seats) and in the charming Edythe Bates Old Chapel.
