Austin-based pianist, Matthew Kent Everett will be performing works by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Leonard Mark Lewis on Tuesday, May 31 at 7 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 8001 Mesa Drive. This event is open to the public and admission is free.  The performance time is approximately one hour with no intermission.

  • Name: Matthew Kent Everett
  • Pianist and native Austinite, Matthew Kent Everett has wowed audiences both here in the US and Europe with his playing, which has been described by concert pianist, Tedd Joselson, as "spellbinding." A laureate of several international competitions, Mr. Everett was educated at Sam Houston State University and the University of Houston Moores School of Music where he studied with Abbey Simon and Betty Ruth Tomfohrde. Mr. Everett is a member of the Founder's Council at the Round Top Festival Institute, having also studied with Artistic Director, James Dick.
