KMFA and Louis Shanks Furniture are thrilled to present a new program that will pair local or regional artists and designers to create a custom gallery in the showroom at Louis Shanks. The program will expose artist's work to consumers in a natural setting as it might appear in your home or office.

The unique work of local artist Daryl Howard will be featured during the month of December. Howard has perfected the 18th century Japanese technique of woodcut printing. The Art & Design Gallery Opening featuring Howard's work along with award-winning interior designer Mimi Rosenthal will take place on Thursday, December 5th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Louis Shanks Furniture, located at 2930 W Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78757. Enjoy light bites by ZEN Japanese Food Fast and sips by Tito's Handmade Vodka, Milam & Greene Whiskey, and Topo Chico, as well as a performance by Alex Lew from Austin Classical Guitar.
