A BEETHOVEN BASH

Like many other organizations, Chrous Austin will begin their 2020-21 season online. These performances will be free to the public, but your donations are greatly appreciated to help sustain the Chorus during these times.

A Beethoven Bash will feature a new recording of Elegischer Gesang, with solos by Mezzo-Soprano Veronica Williams. Chorus Austin will welcome special guests The Artisan Quartet for this special event. The program will also include other previously recorded Beethoven favorites.

Chorus Austin is an award-winning symphonic ensemble specializing in large-scale masterworks with professional orchestras and soloists. The Symphonic Chorus, which includes up to 160 amateur and professional singers selected by audition, offers a cross-section of some of the best vocal talent and musical passion in Central Texas.

Intimate sounds and exquisite blend mark our Chamber Ensemble. The carefully selected 32 member chamber chorus performs smaller choral works ranging in style from early Renaissance music to contemporary pieces, accompanied or a cappella.
