CHARLES' DICKENS A CHRISTMAS CAROL

One actor, over 30 characters, in 60 minutes! Celebrate the holiday season with award-winning actress, storyteller, and author Bernadette Nason, as she reprises her one-woman version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Using Dickens’ own abridged version, Nason vividly brings this holiday classic to life.

Originally directed by Austin Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Lara Toner Haddock for Austin Playhouse in 2009, Bernadette has continued to delight audiences with this one-woman holiday hit. Nason brings Dickens to life for the holidays December 18 –December 21 (Friday, Saturday, and Monday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 5:00 p.m.).

Bernadette will host a livestreamed talkback after each performance, with a Special Guest!

Pick-Your-Price tickets start at $15. Only one ticket is needed per household/viewing screen.

    Austin Playhouse is a professional theatre in its 21st season. Under the leadership of Co-Producing Artistic Directors Don Toner and Lara Toner Haddock, Austin Playhouse has grown from a three-play season on the campus of Concordia University, to a year-round operation producing an average of six mainstage plays, theatre for youth productions, and a new play festival. Austin Playhouse is currently performing at the Austin Community College Highland campus. In April 2018, Austin Playhouse purchased 2.8 acres of land along the 183-frontage road with plans to build a two-venue performance facility. In March 2020, Austin Playhouse pivoted to online-only content and is currently producing an all-virtual "Ghostlight Season."
