CLASSICAL MUSIC FOR THE WORLD PRESENTS

CAPITOL PEACE CONCERT 2021

Tuesday, September 21 at 12:00 p.m. | Texas Capitol Rotunda

Classical Music for the World will present its annual Capitol Peace Concert in the Texas Capitol Rotunda on Tuesday, September 21 at 12:00 p.m. to commemorate the International Day of Peace.

The concert aims to inspire and unite people through classical music from the heart of Texas. This year, the carefully arranged music selections will memorialize those who have died from the pandemic and political violence throughout the world.

Considering the current COVID-19 conditions, CMFTW is minimizing the number of participating musicians, so most of the program will be made up of solo performances except a string ensemble that will perform "Arirang" - a traditional Korean folk song.

This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Face masks are encouraged.
