Chorus Austin returns to live performing, celebrating the opening of its 57th season with LifesongsInspired by the events of the past 18 months, including the pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement, this music is meant to move audiences. The conert will also feature the winner and runner-up of Chorus Austin's 2021 Young Composers Competition.

Patrons will have two opportunities to see the performance in-person as well as have the option to view virtually.

Enjoy a special presentation of Chorus Austin's Lifesongs concert in the intimate setting of KMFA's Draylen Mason Music Studio. Seats for this performance are extremely limited so early reservations are encouraged.

Audience COVID-19 protocols: 
In order to present our performance to you at the highest possible caliber, we are requiring the following from our in-person audience.

EITHER a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of performance date OR proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for all patrons 12 and older to attend in-person Chorus Austin events. Negative test must be dated with your full name matching your ID. Self-administered or "at-home" test will not be accepted. Proof of vaccination will be matched with your ID and can be shown via physical card, photo of your card, or app (e.g. CLEAR Health Pass). Final vaccination must be dated at least 14 days prior to show. 

Patrons unable to meet these requirements can join us virtually. Day-of-show refunds for patrons not meeting these requirements will not be issued. If refunds are needed in advance of the show, please contact office@chorusaustin.org and refunds will be issued within 72 hours.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED and must be worn at all times while inside the venue. Masks must fully cover the nose and mouth as recommended by the CDC. Staff and volunteers of Chorus Austin will be wearing masks, but singers will not be wearing masks during the performance.

The Symphonic Chorus, which includes up to 160 amateur and professional singers selected by audition, offers a cross-section of some of the best vocal talent and musical passion in Central Texas.

    Intimate sounds and exquisite blend mark our Chamber Ensemble. The carefully selected 32 member chamber chorus performs smaller choral works ranging in style from early Renaissance music to contemporary pieces, accompanied or a cappella.
