INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY 2016 - A DAY OF WORLD DANCE!

Ballet Austin celebrates dance that is deeply rooted in culture, and promotes the opportunity for the people of Austin to be able to identify with their culture through dance. An opportunity for everyone to dance, learning a variety of cultural dance from around the world.

Dance is a common language that unites us all on some level, and as we explore cultural dances, we discover a commonality between many cultures. The value of dance as a crucial form of cultural expression has been evident for centuries.

Join us as we celebrate International Dance Day by offering a variety of classes all afternoon from countries and cultures around the world including:

Afro-Brazilian | American Jazz | Ballet | Bollywood | Brazilian Samba | Hawaiian Dance | Hip Hop | Irish Dance | Iranian Party Dance | Philippine Itik Itik | Latin Salsa | West African Dance & Drums | Zumba
