About the Host

From London, England to Austin, Texas in one fell swoop - soon after her arrival here in the fall of 2009 Carmel joined the KMFA family. She has been the host of Sunday Matinee for over 5 years now. You can join her on Sunday afternoons from noon to 5 p.m. for long, relaxed pieces of classical music to help you wind down before the work week starts up again. Carmel also hosts Night Music every weekday night from 10 until midnight – a two hour mix of handcrafted relaxing music to help you end your day on a high note. Her Irish roots and British upbringing add something a little different to her shows. Try some and see for yourself!
