Welcome to a whole new online experience at KMFA.  The President and General Manager wants to welcome you to the new site. Here are a few things to check out!

• One-click listening - the KMFA hosts, programs, and music you love are there with the click of a button. 

How to listen: In the bar at the top of your screen, simply click the play button/arrow next to "Now Playing," as pictured below. You may need to wait a moment to let the stream buffer before the music begins.

• Find out what's happening -  This site will host many stories, often with audio and video elements, about local and world arts events. Some of our favorites are interview with musicians and composers that visit the KMFA studio.


• Know what is playing - The Playlist now pulls data in real-time, which provides more accurate information about what's airing. You can see composer, title, ensemble, and soloist, when available. Additional record information is coming soon.

We couldn't wait to let you see and use the website, but that means that the new site launched without all of its features fully developed. Here are a few things to look forward to over the next month or so. 

• Listen to the programs YOU want - Access audio from recent and archived shows and episodes from your favorite programs like Choral Classics, Classical Austin, Ancient Voices, and more!


• See your name on kmfa.org - We are finalizing the functionality for local musicians, groups, and cultural organizations to submit upcoming shows and exhibits to the new and improved Events calendar.
