You do not want to miss this rare opportunity to see the Jim Cullum Jazz Band in Austin! This ensemble is renowned worldwide for playing the classic jazz associated with King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton and Bix Beiderbecke --among others--plus music by great American composers such as Duke Ellington, Hoagy Carmichael, George Gershwin and Irving Berlin. The band has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap Farm, Austin City Limits, and at festivals and concerts across the U.S. and Latin America. The San Antonio jazz great will take the stage at the Cap City Comedy Club in Austin, Oct. 15 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Admission is free to ATJS members; $10 general admission and students with ID $5:00. Swing dancers will have plenty of room to dance and a full bar and great food round out the fun.
