About

Wood-fired pottery – an ancient and utilitarian art form that’s been appreciated by humans for hundreds. But with the advent of electric and gas kilns, the use of the wood kiln has become all that more rare and fascinating. This Novemeber, TEAplusART is shining some light on the very under-appreciated art of Wood-fired pottery, showcasing a wide array of pottery and clay works, all curated by Jeff Forster of Houston’s Glassell School. The exhibit will run through the entire month of November, giving you plenty of time to harken back to another era as you come and browse the selection of pottery on display and maybe do some Holiday gift-shipping!
