About

The ACO returns to Bates Recital Hall at the University of Texas for the 3rd annual Texas Rising Stars Concert. The concert combines the best of the Austin community orchestras with the best from the Butler School of Music string studios in a collaborative concert free of charge to the Austin community.

The concert opens with the Marriage of Figaro Overture, then moves to the featured soloists: four violinists who won the Butler School of Music String Concerto Competition. On the second half of the concert, the ACO will perform Darius Milhaud's La création du monde.

Come experience the talent of these young artists who are on the precipice of a career in music with ACO members who have a life-long dedication to music in Bates Recital Hall, one of the premiere performance spaces in Austin.
