ONE OUNCE OPERA WITH JEANNE DAYTON SASAKI PRESENT

SONGS MY MOTHER TAUGHT ME:

MOZART EDITION

APRIL 6 | 4:00 P.M. | COVENANT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Calling all Mozart lovers and fans of classical singing! This concert could be the impetus for your next opera playlist. It's an afternoon of blissful Mozart melodies!

What should you expect? Four of our communities' most beloved female voices sharing hand-picked Mozartian arias and duets with Jeanne Dayton Sasaki leading expertly from the piano.

Bethany Naef Ammon | June Julian | Icy Monroe | Maureen Broy Papovich

The feel is intimate and comfortable. Come as you are! We invite you to settle in as music – and perhaps memories – envelop you. The perfect Sunday afternoon concert for letting the week's stress melt away, or to enjoy some sweetness before the weekend ends.

Curated in memory of pianist Jeanne Sasaki's late mother, Patricia Freund – a prolific singer whose voice filled her childhood and inspired her dedication to singers and music – this is the second in a series of concerts: quite simply, these are songs her mother taught her. See you there!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Doors open at 3:30. Parking is plentiful and close-in! The concert begins at 4:00 PM. There will be one intermission, and we plan to have you out in time for an early dinner.

Your admission is a donation, and your gift will further the reach of One Ounce Opera's mission, increase pay for our local artists, and elevate production development and quality. In other words, you are championing more ounces of opera!

A huge thank you to Jeanne Sasaki who chose One Ounce Opera as the beneficiary of this event.
