TEXAS PERFORMING ARTS PRESENTS:

BRANFORD MARSALIS AND DIANNE REEVES

CELEBRATE JOHN COLTRANE

September 2026 marks the centennial of John Coltrane’s birth. To celebrate the enduring legacy of one of jazz’s most influential voices, NEA Jazz Masters and Grammy Award winners Branford Marsalis and Dianne Reeves unite for a special once-in-a-lifetime tribute. Reeves joins forces with the stunningly versatile Branford Marsalis Quartet to honor the landmark 1963 collaboration between Coltrane and vocalist Johnny Hartman. Fresh from their companion album release on Blue Note Records, these jazz luminaries bring Coltrane’s timeless repertoire to life in an unforgettable night of music.

Presenting Sponsor: Tejemos Foundation, Lynne Dobson and Greg Wooldridge. Additional support is provided by Suzanne and Bill Childs.
