We will be having a CD Album release party at the KMFA Classical Music Radio Station in Austin, Texas on October 21, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Michelle Schumann will also be there to perform some of the works from this album! Please join us if you can. We will have refreshments and snacks at the party! I will have the CD album to purchase as well!

Hailed for her “sensitive, flexible, and tempestuous dexterity” (Fanfare Magazine), pianist Michelle Schumann has built a reputation for evocative and moving performances that are infused with unique energy and zeal.

Pianist Michelle Schumann has been praised many times over for being a fantastically versatile musician and performer. She easily slides from classical to contemporary styles, sometimes within the same composition, playing both with emotion and passion that make her performances really shine. At her concerts and performances, Schumann has been known to engage the audience with her captivating insights into the context or history of the work. She currently puts her skill and musical knowledge to work as the Artistic Director of the Austin Chamber Music Center and as Artist-in-Residence and Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
