One of the more insidious things about the pandemic is the affect its had on the mental health of everyone, musicians included. One such violinist decided to do something about it. Along with the help of the Houston's Vivace International School of Music, Catherine Wu, a college freshman and a violinist, created a competition for the under 18 set of classical musicians. The Houston International Music Competition gets underway, virtually, on April 3rd.
