The Holiday season is upon us and the Temple Symphony Orchestra would like you to share a very special evening that is sure to set you in the mood for Christmas.On December 6,2014at the Mary Alice Marshall Performing Arts Center at Temple College 2600 South First Street .There will be a prologue at 6:30 by Steve Pettit, and the concert will begin at 7:30 pm.
Featured artists will include Bruce Cain, from Southwestern University, and Dr. Sara Harris Baker, from Temple College. Also, the Chorales from Temple College and the San Gabriel Chorus from Southwestern will perform.
The concert will begin with Alfred Reed's Russian Christmas Music and then the J. S. Bach's Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring. The audience will be lead through traditional music of the season such as Ave Maria, Away in a Manger, I'll be home for Christmas and a Sing-a-long.
