VARIETY IS THE HALLMARK OF LAKEWAY PAINTERS' ART SHOW

Sunday, November 20th at The Lakeway Hills Country Club, thirty artists will show more than 100 original paintings in a variety of styles and media. Admission is free and open to the public. Visitors will find a diverse assortment of gift ideas from paintings to note/greeting cards and there will be a cash bar. The art exhibit runs from noon to 4:00pm.

Linda Buikema, chair of this year's event, announced there will also be a silent auction of original art with all proceeds going to the HeartGift Foundation, a nonprofit organization that brings children from around the world free surgery to correct life-threatening congenital heart defects. "We are very pleased to donate to this worthwhile charity,“ Buikema said, "which began its work in Austin and now has chapters in multiple cities.“

Secured entry into Village of the Hills (and The Hills Country Club) is located off Lohman's Crossing Drive. At the gate, visitors should advise the security guard they are attending The Lakeway Painters' Art Show. Ample parking is available adjacent to the club house.
