About
Each year the ACO travels north to Georgetown to perform in Southwestern University's beautiful Alma Thomas Theater. This season’s concert, Spotlight on Southwestern, is on Saturday, February 4th, and will feature SU music faculty and students.
Kenny Sheppard will lead the SU Chorale and alumni guests in music from Felix Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah. The second half of the concert will feature J. Michael Cooper’s edition of Mendelssohn’s Italian Symphony as well as Jason Hoogerhyde’s contemplative Lament for string orchestra.
Join us as we celebrate the No. 1 ranked liberal arts university in Texas! Join Drs. Cooper and Hoogerhyde for a pre-concert lecture.
