Cosmic Intuition Productions presents Peace-N-Rhythm Festival 2015 Saturday March 7, 2015. This event will take place at The Family Life Center 1300 Lavaca Street in downtown Austin. The theme of this year’s festival is Blessings and Unity For Africa-Unity In The USA.

The festival will feature music and/or dance from Guinea West Africa, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria and more. Featured performers include: Bramaya, Allah Nan Fan featuring Alseny Sylla, Cosmic Intuition with Poet Eartha Colson performing a special set for saxophonist Melvin Wilburn, Gidi Agbeko & Company and more. The opening ceremony and libations will by Baba Ifalade from the group D.R.U.M. and words of enlightenment from Aklilu Gebrewold from Ethiopia. There will also be an African Culinary Tour by Cazamance with beverages by Nile Valley Herbs (www.maryam.org.) and community groups and organizations who are doing much to help Mama Africa Event will be co-hosted by Winifred Mohammad and Dr. Faye..

Advance tickets for Peace-N-Rhythm Festival 2015 for $12.00 are available at Antones Records 2928 Guadalupe Street and tickets are $15.00 at the Family Life Center night of the event. This is a non-profit event under auspices of the Austin Creative Alliance.
