About
A Schubertiade was a home concert, first held in Schubert's own apartments, of his music, of all types suitable for chamber performance. In the first Austin Schubertiade, Musica Ecclesia chorus and soloists will perform solo songs, piano duet music, and songs for chorus with piano, including the great dramatic cantata, "Mirjams Siegesgesang," featuring soprano Sara Jebaily. Ms Jebaily, along with Mezzo-soprano Patricia Combs and tenor Jeffrey Jones-Ragona will perform a set of solo songs. Pianists Timothy Nolt and Brooks Whitmore will accompany, and also offer Schubert's grand Fantasy in f-minor for 4 hands piano. Tickets are available online now!
