Freedom is more than just a word; it's a concept deeply ingrained in the fabric of our society. It represents the ability to express ourselves, to pursue our dreams, and to live without fear. It's the cornerstone of democracy and the foundation upon which our nation was built. The theme "Symbols of Freedom" aims to showcase the diverse array of images and ideas that come to mind when contemplating this cherished ideal. From the stars and stripes of the American flag to the soaring eagle, these symbols not only represent our nation's history but also embody the values that are held dear. 

By celebrating these symbols in the parade, there is a hope to inspire reflection and appreciation for the freedoms enjoyed. Participants are invited to express their creativity and interpretation of what freedom means to them.

The 4th of July parade is a celebrated event in Lakeway, bringing together residents and visitors alike to celebrate America's independence and the City's rich heritage. 8:30 AM: Parade begins on Lakeway Drive (Live Oak Golf Course to Activity Center)

9:30 AM: Hot Dog Reception at the Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek)
