School groups are invited to attend the annual Hill Country Space Expo on Thursday, October 8, and Friday, October 9, at the Boys and Girls Club of the Highland Lakes, 1701 Broadway St., Marble Falls, TX. The public is invited on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the same location. The venue will be open from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm. Admission is free.

Former shuttle astronauts Dr. John B. Herrington (First Native American Astronaut) and John Blaha will be available to discuss their missions to the International Space Station.

In honor of the 46th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, the Hill Country Space Expo will display items from various space programs as well as photographs autographed by astronauts describing their adventures in space.

Activities include model building and flight simulators.
