Sarofim School of Fine Arts’ Theatre Department invites you to experience a day of whimsy and weirdness at the Wayside School! John Olive’s stage adaptation of Louis Sachar’s Wayside School novels will bring plenty of giggles and guffaws for audiences of all ages. A group of fun-loving students live in constant fear of their evil teacher, Mrs. Gorf. When a magical mishap turns her into an apple, the students embark on a journey that includes hypnosis, a tornado, and a mysterious nineteenth floor that doesn’t exist.
