PENFOLD THEATRE COMPANY PRESENTS:

VINCENT

BY LEONARD NIMOY

March 23 - April 8 | Ground Floor Theatre

Vincent intimately relates the life story of the iconic painter, Vincent Van Gogh, from the perspective of his brother Theo. Based on actual letters between the pair, the play goes beyond biography of the misunderstood artist by revealing the bigger meaning and significance of Van Gogh’s life – a symbol of inspiration, courage, passion, and the lust for life that art kindles in all of us.

Nathan Jerkins performs Thurs 3/23 at 7:30, Sat 3/25 at 7:30, Fri 3/31 at 7:30, Sun 4/2 at 5pm, Fri 4/7 at 7:30, and Sat 4/8 at 4pm.

Ryan Crowder performs Fri 3/24 at 7:30, Sun 3/26 at 5pm, Thurs 3/30 at 7:30, Sat 4/1 at 7:30, Thurs 4/6 at 7:30, and Sat 4/8 at 7:30

Presenter Details

  • Name: Penfold Theatre Company
  • Over its past 14 seasons, Penfold has given audiences fresh eyes to see old stories. Now, in our Vision 2025 Plan, we’re fully embracing that rich tradition and taking it to a bold new level!

As we re-emerge from the pandemic, we’ll be exploring what gives “classic” stories their timeless power and how we make that power relevant and resonant for today’s Central Texans. We’ll also look critically at texts that—for better or worse—have become part of our modern psyche and forge a more inclusive definition of the theatrical canon.
