Celebrating 25 years of Latinx and Indigenous films, Cine Las Americas presents the 25th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival. The festival showcases new releases, narratives, documentaries, music videos, “Emergencia” youth films, and a special Hecho en Tejas (Made in Texas) series. Over 25 countries are represented and awards are given in both juried and audience favorite categories. The in-person festival continues over 5 days with red carpets and special events, providing valuable exposure for filmmakers and opportunities for the audience to experience great showcases of films.

    Cine Las Americas is a multi-cultural, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Austin Texas, offering theatrical screenings of films made by and/or about Latinos or Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Films from Spain and Portugal are also included, enhancing a truly Pan-American cinematic experience.

    Mission

    The mission of Cine Las Americas is to promote cross-cultural understanding and growth by educating, entertaining and challenging the diverse Central Texas community through film and media arts.
